As our idols crumble down and (hopefully) people are being spiritually awakened, and as things are changing so rapidly in our world (just catch the news!), there is another temptation at this time which creeps in...The temptation to diminish our prayer life and prayer as a family. If there's anything that will steal away our peace, even as practicing Christians, this will be it...so slowly move us away from our center, who is Jesus Christ.
We will not make it through these times well, we will hinder our ability to listen to the will of God as things unfold and the steps He wants us to take, and we will certainly not be of great help to others if we are first not rooted in prayer.
